Thomas E Devine, Robert Wallack (who found her briefcase) and Julious Nabers, who decoded the messages for Colonel Wallace that stated they had found her plane, and that they were going to destroy it. He also guarded the plane for 24 hours. These interviews are part of my film Earhart, the official website is, and Im hoping to start filming the dramatic portions in the spring of 07. All three of these gentlemen have passed away, and my condolences to each of their families. They were generous to tell me their stories on camera, and only hoped that one day I could make my film about what really happened to Amelia. He worked his way through hip-hops early years into the heyday of crews like Eric B. & Rakim, Ultramagnetic, and Public Enemy; groups which prominently featured djs in their ranks. Josh Shadow Davis had already been fiddling around with making beats and breaks on a four-track while he was in high school, but it was his move to the norcal cow-town of Davis to attend university that led to the establishment of his own Solesides label as an outlet for his original tracks. Hooking up with Davis few b-boys (including eventual Solesides artists Blackalicious and Lyrics Born) through the college radio station, Shadow began releasing the Reconstructed From the Ground Up mix tapes in 1991 and pressed his 17-minute hip-hop symphony Entropy in 1993. His tracks spread widely through the DJ-strong hip-hop underground, eventually catching the attention of Mo Wax. The strangest feature of the flight was its relative silence; spectators on the ground could hear the pilot when he called to them from mid-air. The aircraft, piloted by William Besler, had been fitted with a two-cylinder, 150 hp reciprocating engine. An important contribution to its design was made by Nathan C. Price, a former Doble Steam Motors engineer. Price was working on high pressure compact engines for rail and road transport; the purpose of the flight was to obtain publicity for this work. Following its unexpectedly favourable reception Price went to Boeing and worked on various aviation projects, but Boeing dropped the idea of a steam aeroengine in 1936. Price later worked for Lockheed where his experience with developing compact burners for steam boilers helped to design Lockheeds first jet engine.
